Happy Snaps

Hi again!

Today's post is a page that I just love!  I first saw these papers when my sister Mel Field used them for her DT work at Scrapbookit, I knew as soon as I saw them what photos I wanted to use.  My husband and I went to a Navy Ball earlier this year and they had a photo booth there, we had lots of fun being a bit silly, and these photos were the result :)

All of the embellishments I have used were pieces from the collectables pack, except the film strip, that was printed on my silhouette cameo using a file by jillibean soup.

For the background (here is a close up), I used the Kaisercraft clear stamps (You!).  I didn't stamp too heavy as I just wanted to break up the white background without using another paper.  And the quotes are all about love, so I thought very suited to these photos.

Can't wait to do more with these papers!

Our Wedding Day

Hi!

So after almost 9 years I have finally decided to scrapbook some of our wedding photos for us to hang up!  I have previously made a brag book for my Dad to show around and I think maybe one layout for my album, but nothing ever for us to have at home.  I have so many favourite pics from the day, so when I saw the extra large memory frame from Kaisercraft I couldn't resist.  I loved every moment of my wedding day and can't believe its taken me this long to do something!  Anyway here is what I have come up with…..

and a few close ups of the flowers and bling!

I used a range of different black and white papers, most of which I had in my stash as was the bling and flowers, I have been collecting black and white for our wedding photos for a while now!  I cut the words, the banners and the rings on my Silhoutte Cameo.

Here is the list of what I used,

Bella Celebrate Paperz - Classic (CL26)
Echo Park - You & Me - True Love (PFYM8003)
Echo Park - You & Me - Music Notes (PFYM8006)
Kaisercraft - Sublime - Divine (P224)
Kaisercraft Kaisercard - Licorice (CD102)
Bazzill Basics Cardstock - Diamond

Kaisercraft Paper Blooms - Ruby (F636)
Kaisercraft Paper Blooms - Black (F666)
Kaisercraft Paper Blooms - Coconut (F627)
Kaisercraft Mini Paper Blooms - Coconut (F644)
Assorted Manor House Flowers

Bella Bling - Black and Pearl Borderlines (BG73)
Flourish with a Bling - Pearl
Kaisercraft Rhinestones - Silver (SB700)

Kaisercraft Kaiser colour Paint - Black (KC031)

As I plan for this to hang on the wall for sometime, I laminated all the photos to protect them from dust and dirt.  For the papers and the frame I used Mod Podge (Matte), to do the same.

All in all I am very happy with the end result, just need to decide where to hang it!

Happy Mothers Day!

Hi!

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mum's out there today, I hope you all got spoilt like I did :)

I thought I would share with you the 2 Mother's Day cards I made and also a cute little gift card holder I printed on my silhouette cameo.

All the products I used were part of the kit I received from Jo at Scrapbookit for this months challenge, the Honey Chai Collection from Kaisercraft.  I added a few bits of pearl bling and thats about it :)

This little gift card holder I cut on my silhouette cameo, the design was from Samantha Walker.  I couldn't resist, so cute!

Well I hope you like and once again Happy Mothers Day!

Copic Card

Hi!

Just a quick post to show you a little card I made.  I haven't used my copic markers in a while so I thought I would get them out for this beautiful little ballerina.

I made this card for a little girl my daughter dances with, I used the La-La Land Crafts 'Marci' stamp, a few scraps of paper and some ribbon from my stash and a quick banner from my silhouette cameo, and of course some bling.

I hope you like!

Scrapbookit GDT

Well once again it's been a while………..

Anyway I have been lucky enough to be selected as a Guest Design Team Member for Scrapbookit for the month of May!  I was extremely lucky to receive a great pack from Jo, and I even got to set the challenge for the month.  Jump on over to the Scrapbookit blog to check out my post and what the other girls on the team have come up with.

My challenge was as follows

Your layout must have the following

1 Black and White photo
2 copies of your Black and White photo (any sizes)
3 Embellishments (at least!)
4 patterned papers and a
5 word title!

And this is what I came up with…….

The papers are from the Kaisercraft Honey Chai Collection, and the flowers are from Manor House.  The photo I used is of my husbands Nana and Pop when they got married back in 1946.

I also made a few cards with the Honey Chai Collection, and another LO, I was amazed how different 2 LO's with the same paper collection could be :)

All in all I had a great time, so thanks to Jo and the team over at Scrapbookit, and don't forget to enter the challenge.

I'm back!

Hi!

So it's been a while......... moving back to Australia and getting settled got a little busy.  It's been over a year now back in Sydney, and one thing after another has stopped me scrapping as much as I would like.  I am determined to pick up my game!  I purchased so many awesome papers and bits and pieces in the USA, I couldn't possibly let them go to waste :)

For my first post back I thought I might just post a few pics of a few OTP projects I have done in the last year, as well as a few of my favourite pages and cards.

This first page is my entry for the latest challenge at Scrapbookit

And this is last month at scrapbookit where I was lucky enough to be asked to be a guest design team member.  Had a great time and Jo spoilt me with goodies to work with :)  I loved the big flower on this page, it was made from my silhouette cameo (that I love).  I used a Lori Whitlock file, I couldn't resist with the Kaisercraft Lady Rose collection, it was just screaming flowers at me!!

Thought I would just throw this one in since it's almost Halloween again.

This next page is one of my all time favourites, and it's such a nice photo of me and my Mum :)

This next one was my first attempt at the Project Life style of scrapbooking.  I have to admit it was very easy and quick and looks great!

Now for a few cards..... there have been heaps more that I have given away forgetting to take a photo first, oops!

This next project took me quite a while, but I figured it was worth it, cause now I have somewhere to store my paints.  I am a big fan of the red/black/white colour combination :)  Something different from the pink I usually use to scrap pictures of my girls.

These butterflies I made for my daughters room, everything has to be pink and purple!

The next two drawer sets I made as gifts for new babies.  I filled both with baby hair clips and pins etc, just a little something different for a gift :)

And a little baby album for one of those beautiful little girls!

Lastly, this was a class I did at the Scrapbookit retreat earlier in the year, I had an absolute ball and am very sad to be missing out this weekend :(

Well I hope I didn't put you to sleep!  Sorry it's been a while, I have promised myself that I will take time each week to have some 'Me Time' as my big sister calls it, so I will be back soon :)

Enjoy your weekend and see you again soon.

Jenn :)
