Daddy's Girl

Since back in December when these pictures were taken I have had this page in my head, I kept putting it off, cause I wanted it to be perfect because I love the photos so much!!  We took the girls to the snow for a few days, a few hours drive from here and Charlotte had her first skiing lesson.  Like most small children who get a chance to ski, Charlotte picked it up really quick :)  Ted was so excited and they had so much fun (I on the other hand got to spend most of the time watching from our condo window that looked out over the ski fields with Victoria, at least I was warm in front of the fire!!), it was a great few days :)  Here is what I came up with and I do just love it, Ted wants to know why the page of him has flowers on it!!! What do boys know??

What Ted does love about it is that everything I used I had already, so it truly was 'scrap' booking, except for the flowers they were new!! Thanks for looking :)

Scrapbookit Card Challenge

I had so much fun doing the sketch Layout for Scrapbookit this month I just had to use the card sketch as well, I needed to make a card...... a work colleague of Ted's and his wife sent Ted home with a bottle of wine for me, such a nice couple!! :).  Anyway, here is my take on it, I've never done a card sketch before, so it was all new for me.

March/April Card Challenge

I love the end result so much I don't want to give it away!!

Scrapbookit Sketch Challenge

Well here is my 1st entry into a sketch challenge at Scrapbookit.  This is the sketch.

I have used some photos of my gorgeous little girl, Charlotte and I carving pumpkins last year for Halloween. It was our first time and we had a ball!!

All of the products used are from s.e.i.  the 'Moonrise collection'.

Welcome

Hi, Welcome to my new blog Seymour Scrap.  Over the last year or so I have watched other scrap booking blogs and been very inspired by what others have done, so with a little push from my fab sister I created my very own blog, I figure there is always someone who wants to see more scrap online :)  My Husband laughs at the name!!  Anyway, I hope you enjoy the stuff I do.
