DT Entry

So Scrapbookit has advertised for a new DT, and seeing I always enter into the challenges there and love the store I thought I might put my hat in the ring!!  The challenge was to create a page from this page maps sketch, I found it a little tricky getting 3 of my photos onto a layout like this, but in the end I think it works :)

 

Hope everyone has a fantastic Easter, we are having a Easter Egg Hunt here on Saturday with the girls and some of their friends, should provide me with a bunch of great photos to scrap :)

Crop nights

I know it looks a little like I have been slack lately in the scrapbooking department but I have however done more scrapping in the last 2 months then in the last year!!  My friend (Melissa) and I found a scrapbook store here in Virginia beach that has a free crop day on Fridays, anytime from 10am till midnight.  So this has been our thing for the past month or two :)  It gives us a break from the kids, gets some scrapping done and we can gossip all night long!!  What more could you want? Really?

Anyway, so I thought I would post a few photos of my favourites from the last two months....

Just a quick post to say thanks to Jo at scrapbookit, I was very excited to hear I won the card challenge last month!

Looking Forward

Ok, so I know I have been very slack in the blog department again, and I have finally got off my backside and done something.  My darling sister posted a challenge on the scrapbookit website and I couldn't resist :)  "Looking forward, Looking back" is the quote you have to use, on a non standard shape layout, so many options......anyway this is my entry.

I needed to make a card for Charlotte's little friends 4th birthday, so I attempted the card challenge as well, very cute and pretty I thought!! Check out scrapbookit for all the details on both challenges.

Anyway I am on a mission to get the girls Santa photos scrapbooked, so stand by for a few Xmas layouts soon.
